GASP was formed in July 1999 to address substance abuse in their community among their youth population (12-18 years of age). The coalition represents a collaboration of several dedicated, local agencies, parents, teens, and other interested community members. They wanted a logo that would show the community working together towards solutions. The arrows rest upon one another for support and form a star always pointing up.
